A Bit of History There is a growing trend of inexperienced designers charging ridiculous amounts of money for poorly designed and constructed web sites. This all relates to when the profession of ‘web design’ was first appearing in the 90’s. We wanted to provide companies with the web site they deserve, without having to worry about being taken advantage of, or having a poorly designed (and costly!) web site. With a little courage and a determined mind set, CS2 Media was brought to life in 2003 so that we could concentrate on developing sites on a full-time basis and enjoy life at the same time.

So, where did the CS2 Media name come from?

This is the most common question we are asked! The CS2 name was primarily inspired by Charles Sawyer Jr. C is for Charles, S is for Sawyer and the number 2 comes from having the same name as his dad which makes him a junior.

Where in the world?

CS2 Media is based in Chicago, Illinois but the nature of the Internet means that web design work can readily be done from anywhere in the World. We have clients for our various services from L.A. to Japan and were not going to let a few extra miles come between you and a great service. Providing you speak English, as we do not pretend to be linguists, CS2 would be delighted to be commissioned to bring your organization to the Internet.
