Hi. My name is Maxwell Jones. I’m a sixty-eight-year-old widow who lives alone. I’ve always had a home phone, now often referred to as a landline. My grown children keep trying to tell me that there’s no need for that anymore. They all have cell phones only, and they work just fine. To be completely honest, I’m nervous about having a cell phone only --I have one and I use it, but I’m simply not comfortable with it being my only phone line. I have my arguments as to why I feel I need a landline, and my children have their arguments as to why people only need a wireless cell phone. Learn both sides to this debate with me, especially if you have a similar dilemma.
